David Clerihews' - American Landscapes Gallery

David started his American Landscapes project over 9 years ago, born from his fascination with Americas’ vast and diverse culture.

He embarked upon a road trip through the US with his assistant to primarily document the American populace. He started on the back streets of Las Vegas with an armed guard, photographing local people from all walks of life using a mobile pop-up studio. Unexpectedly he started to complement these portraits with observational landscapes as he travelled from state to state. 9 years on, it’s still a working project that he hopes to finish in the next couple of years.
